Final pricing may change if the actual volume, weight, item type, access difficulty, labor required, loading conditions, or disposal requirements differ from what was originally described.

Upfront Job Pricing

For most on-site junk removal services, final pricing is confirmed before work begins. If the approved job scope changes after service starts, additional charges may apply.

Extra Charges May Apply For:

Heavy or oversized items
Stairs, long carries, or difficult access
Disassembly or teardown work
Hazardous, restricted, or special disposal items
Loads that exceed the originally described volume
Waiting time caused by lack of access or site delays

A quote is not a guarantee of availability, and pricing may be withdrawn or updated if circumstances change before the appointment.

4. Booking and Scheduling

Appointment times are offered as requested time slots or service windows and are subject to change based on traffic, prior jobs, weather, disposal facility schedules, mechanical issues, and other operational factors.

Same-day or next-day service may be available, but it is not guaranteed. We may contact you to confirm, update, reschedule, or cancel an appointment when necessary.

Your booking is not considered final until it is confirmed by The Junk Men Fresno.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about the items to be removed, the property location, site conditions, and any known access issues. You are responsible for ensuring that:

You have legal authority to approve removal of the items
The items are ready for removal as described
The site is reasonably safe and accessible
Children, pets, and other occupants are kept clear of work areas
Any items you want to keep are clearly separated before service begins

The Junk Men Fresno is not responsible for items left in areas designated for removal if those items were not clearly separated or identified before the job started.

6. Prohibited Items

We do not accept every type of material. Prohibited or restricted items may include, without limitation, hazardous waste, chemicals, paint, solvents, asbestos-containing materials, biohazards, explosives, ammunition, flammable liquids, medical waste, and other items restricted by law, disposal rules, or safety policy.

If prohibited items are discovered on-site, we may refuse service, remove only approved items, or charge additional handling time if the job cannot proceed as planned.

IMPORTANT

If you are not sure whether an item can be removed, contact us before booking. Approval of one job does not mean all materials on-site are approved for removal.

7. Payments

Payment is due at the time services are completed unless a different written arrangement has been approved in advance. By booking service, you agree to pay all approved charges associated with your job.

We may accept cash, card, or other payment methods made available at the time of service. Returned payments, declined cards, chargebacks without valid basis, or unpaid balances may be subject to collection efforts and any lawful recovery costs.

Deposits may be required for certain appointments, larger jobs, special scheduling, or dumpster rental services. If a deposit is required, the terms of that deposit will be shared at the time of booking.

8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as early as possible. We may reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee, lost-trip fee, or deposit forfeiture for late cancellations, missed appointments, blocked access, or jobs that materially differ from the original booking after crew dispatch.

We may also reschedule or cancel service when necessary due to unsafe conditions, severe weather, disposal limitations, equipment issues, staffing limitations, or events outside our reasonable control.

9. Access and Safety

You are responsible for providing safe and lawful access to the property and service area. We may refuse or stop service if conditions create a safety risk, including blocked pathways, unstable structures, aggressive animals, unsanitary conditions, pest infestation, illegal activity, weapons concerns, or the presence of hazardous materials.

Heavy item removal, demolition, teardown, hot tub removal, concrete removal, and similar work may involve risk of incidental surface disturbance or minor wear consistent with performing the job. While we aim to work carefully and professionally, you acknowledge that some jobs involve tight spaces, weight, cutting, lifting, and removal methods that may create limited unavoidable impact.
